Carrington Falls Picnic Area, also known as Thomas Place, is nestled in Budderoo National Park's northwest, offering breathtaking views of the Kangaroo River's 50-meter plunge. Visitors can enjoy picnic and barbecue facilities, along with short walking tracks leading to three lookouts that showcase the falls' beauty. The area is accessible via unsealed roads suitable for 2WD vehicles, with parking available in a gravel carpark. The picnic area features two non-flush toilets, including an accessible one, and is flat with step-free concrete pathways connecting to the walking tracks. While the park is always open, it may close during adverse weather or fire danger. Park entry fees apply only in the Minnamurra Rainforest area.
