Carcoar Showground

Carcoar Showground, located at 4 Eulamore Street in Carcoar, NSW 2791, is a vibrant venue that hosts the annual Carcoar Show, celebrated as the "Best Little Show in the Country." This one-day agricultural event showcases local produce and features a variety of activities, including five horse rings, wood chopping, whip cracking, and prime lamb exhibitions in the Woolshed. Visitors can enjoy working dog and dog high jump competitions, as well as an exhibition by the Australian Draught Horse Society of old horse-drawn farm machinery. The Pavilion displays local home products, photographs, school work, crafts, flowers, art, and a colouring-in competition. Entertainment for children under 15 includes a snake tails show, giant wooden games, horizontal bungee, jumping castle, merry-go-round, petting zoo, and more. The event also features music by local band Wickes and Watt in the bar area, along with a BBQ, drinks stall, and a variety of delicious food stalls. Market stalls offer shopping opportunities, and a show bag van provides a variety of goods. The 2025 Carcoar Show is scheduled for October 25, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
