Cape Le Grand Beach

Le Grand Beach, nestled within Cape Le Grand National Park, offers a pristine stretch of white sand and clear turquoise waters, ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and fishing. The beach is accessible via a gravel track leading to a firm, compacted sand base suitable for four-wheel-drive vehicles, though caution is advised due to potential bogging in wet or dry sand. Adjacent to the beach, the Le Grand Beach Campground provides 14 unpowered campsites equipped with flush toilets, showers (hot water not guaranteed), and a sheltered food preparation area with gas barbecues and picnic tables. The campground is a short walk from the beach, allowing campers to enjoy the soothing sounds of the ocean. Le Grand Beach also serves as the western trailhead for the Le Grand Coastal Trail, a 20-kilometer hike offering breathtaking coastal views and access to other notable park features.
