Cape Borda Lighthouse

Price on enquiry
Perched on cliffs overlooking Investigator Strait, Cape Borda Lighthouse is a unique square lighthouse built in 1858 on the northwestern corner of Kangaroo Island. Established to guide ships entering the dangerous waters from the west, it offers a self-guided tour of the lightstation settlement, providing insight into the early lightkeepers' living conditions. Visitors can also enjoy the Cliff Top Hike, a short trail through a picturesque rock garden leading to a stone lookout ideal for spotting whales and dolphins. Please note, the lighthouse keepers' heritage accommodation is currently unavailable for hire.
