
Calperum Station, located 15 kilometers north of Renmark, spans approximately 240,000 hectares of protected landscape, extending from the Murray River to the Mallee country. As part of the Riverland Ramsar floodplain, it is recognized as an internationally significant wetland system. The station is home to abundant native birds and wildlife, including rare and threatened species of flora and fauna, and is rich in history. Managed by a team of ecologists and Indigenous rangers, Calperum Station offers various accommodation options, from a five-bedroom family house to smaller cottages, as well as group and individual dorm rooms with a camp kitchen. Additionally, it provides 12 secluded campsites along Ral Ral Creek, accessible for caravans and campervans. Visitors are invited to experience nature, ecology, culture, and conservation activities at their best.
