Cairns Skating Centre

Cairns Skating Centre, located at 44 Behan Street, Manunda, is one of the largest indoor spaces in Cairns, featuring the second-largest rink in Australia. Operated by the not-for-profit Cairns Roller Sports Association Inc., the centre offers a family-friendly environment with bench seating on both sides of the rink. It hosts various events, including private skate sessions, indoor sports, and social gatherings, equipped with a wireless microphone and loud PA system. The centre provides family deals, such as a Day Session for $65 and a Night Session for $80, accommodating 1 parent and 3 children or 2 parents and 2 children. Operating hours vary, with sessions on Friday and Saturday nights from 7 pm to 10 pm, and additional times on weekends. The centre is closed on public holidays and specific dates, including Easter, Anzac Day, and Christmas. Birthday party packages are available, including admission, skate hire, party host, reserved seating, party bags, and complimentary tea and coffee. Inline Hockey is also offered, suitable for ages 5 to 80, with competitions held during school holidays. Gift vouchers and Companion Cards are accepted.
