Buchanan Park Events Complex, located at the corner of George and Simpson Streets in Mount Isa, Queensland, is a premier venue for large-scale events. Completed in 2008, it boasts the Kalkadoon Arena, named after the traditional owners, with a seating capacity exceeding 4,500. The complex also features expansive outdoor display areas, ample parking, and the Xstrata Pavilion, an air-conditioned indoor exhibition space suitable for private functions.
