Established in 1987, Broome Surf Life Saving Club is Western Australia's northernmost club, dedicated to ensuring the safety of beachgoers at Cable Beach. Volunteer members patrol the beach from May to October, providing essential first aid and rescue services. The club offers a family-oriented environment, promoting healthy beach activities, fitness, and a commitment to a safer beach environment. In July 2023, the clubhouse underwent redevelopment, supported by various organizations, enhancing facilities for members and visitors. The club also hosts the Woodside Nippers program, fostering future surf lifesavers through engaging beach activities.
