The reserve features two walking tracks: the 1.5 km Dawson River walking track, which follows the mangrove-lined waterway, and the 1.5 km Ms Kellys walking track, named after Isabella Mary Kelly, a notable figure in the area's history. The area is rich in biodiversity, home to the endangered narrow-leaved redgum (Eucalyptus seeana), vital for koalas. Facilities include picnic tables, barbecues, and accessible parking.
