Boonoo Boonoo National Park, located 35 km from Tenterfield, offers a stunning 210-meter waterfall, secluded swimming holes, and diverse hiking tracks. The park's rich history includes Banjo Patterson's 1903 proposal to Alice Walker at the falls lookout. Wildlife sightings include the endangered brush-tailed rock-wallaby, vulnerable spotted-tailed quoll, platypuses, kangaroos, and wallabies, especially at dawn and dusk.
