Bonython Hall, completed in 1936, serves as the University of Adelaide's main ceremonial venue, hosting graduations, public lectures, and special events. Designed in the Gothic architectural style by Woods Bagot, the hall features Murray Bridge limestone construction and a slate roof from Willunga. Its interior boasts Australian oak paneling and a digital Makin pipe organ installed in 2002. The hall offers modern amenities, including AV equipment, video-conferencing facilities, and teleconference capabilities. It is adjacent to the Goodman Crescent Lawns and can accommodate various event configurations, such as lectures, banquets, and cocktail receptions.
