Renison Tin Operation, located on Tasmania's west coast near Zeehan, is Australia's largest tin producer and one of the world's highest-grade tin mines. Jointly owned by Metals X Limited and Yunnan Tin Group, it has been a significant contributor to Tasmania's economy for over 50 years. The mine employs approximately 500 people, with half residing locally and the other half at the Renison camp in Zeehan. Renison's rich history dates back to 1890, with modern mining methods continually enhancing its efficiency and sustainability.
