Beltana Railway Station, established in 1881, is a significant historical landmark in Beltana, South Australia. The station features a substantial stone building, a timber-framed, galvanized iron freight shed, and a platform. Notably, a small stone building to the north was used by standby crews, as Beltana served as a changeover station. The train service from Beltana to Port Augusta operated three times a week, taking approximately 12 hours. In 1956, the railway line was re-routed 11 kilometers to the west, leading to the station's decline. Currently, the station is undergoing major renovations and restoration efforts.
