Bay of Shoals Wines, located just five minutes north of Kingscote, offers a memorable wine tasting experience overlooking the Bay of Shoals and Reeves Point, the site of South Australia's first European settlement. The cellar door, designed by artist Bernie Walsh, is open daily from 11 am to 5 pm, except on Good Friday, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day. Visitors can enjoy award-winning wines produced on-site, including varietals like Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay, Savagnin, Rosé, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Island Blend, Tawny, and Vintage Fortified. The winery also offers local produce hampers and wine-by-the-glass sales, with ample seating in the garden overlooking the vineyards and the bay.
