Avenue Range, SA

Avenue Range, located in South Australia's Limestone Coast region, is a rural locality approximately 265 kilometers southeast of Adelaide. Established on 3 December 1998, it encompasses an area of 316.594 square kilometers and has a population of 111 residents. The area is governed by the Naracoorte Lucindale Council and falls within the state electoral district of MacKillop and the federal Division of Barker. Historically, Avenue Range was a stop on the Kingston-Naracoorte railway line, operational from 1876 to 1987. The locality is also home to the Cairnbank Homestead and Shearing Shed, listed on the South Australian Heritage Register.
