Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary

Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary, established in 1968 by the Sprigg family, spans 610 square kilometers in the northern Flinders Ranges, South Australia. Renowned for its rugged mountains, towering granite peaks, and deep gorges, it offers a haven for diverse wildlife, including the endangered Yellow-footed Rock-Wallaby. Visitors can embark on the acclaimed Ridgetop Tour, traversing ancient terrains to Sillers Lookout, or experience the Ridgetop Sleepout, camping under the stars in the International Dark Sky Sanctuary.
