Andamooka Station, a pastoral lease in outback South Australia, spans approximately 2,500 km² and is currently stocked with cattle. Located about 28 km northeast of Roxby Downs and 115 km west of Lyndhurst, it is bordered to the east by the ephemeral salt lake, Lake Torrens. The station is owned by BHP, which also operates the nearby Olympic Dam mine and processing plant within its boundaries. The landscape features Arcoona tablelands, predominantly vegetated with saltbush and bluebush.
