The Uluṟu Coach Sunset Viewing Area offers a prime location to witness the iconic Uluṟu rock formation's transformation during sunset. Accessible by car, this area provides a designated spot for coach tours, featuring picnic tables and complimentary beverages to enhance the experience. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views of Uluṟu and, from the top of a nearby sand dune, catch glimpses of Kata Tjuṯa in the distance. For a more tranquil experience, a short 500-meter dune walk leads to a less crowded viewing spot. This area is also suitable for sunrise visits, offering a silhouette of Uluṟu against the rising sun. Please note, the bus sunset viewing area is accessible to everyone until 4:00 pm, after which it is reserved for buses and coaches.
