This rammed earth gallery features a stunning Marri timber floor and large windows that overlook the forest, creating a harmonious blend of art and nature. The gallery hosts an ever-changing series of exhibitions, each lasting approximately six weeks, showcasing a diverse mix of local, regional, and national artists. Exhibitions often focus on environmental and community themes, reflecting the unique spirit of the Southern Forests & Valleys region. Visitors can also explore the Understory Art & Nature Trail, a 1.2 km walk circuit through pristine native forest, featuring sculptures, stories, poetry, and music created by acclaimed artists. The Painted Tree Gallery is open daily from 9 am to 4 pm, offering free entry to all.
