O'Keefes Hut, nestled in the Jagungal Wilderness of New South Wales, is a historic shelter built in 1934 by A.S. O'Keefe to support local grazing. Constructed from corrugated iron with a wooden floor, it features two rooms and a shed. The hut was rebuilt in 2007-2008 after a 2003 fire, with the original footprint preserved. Notably, the O'Keefe family contributed new furniture, and caretakers adorned the walls with donated newspapers from the 1940s. Located near Mount Jagungal, O'Keefes Hut remains a popular stop for hikers on the overland trail.
