Murputja Anangu School, established in 1993, offers education from Birth to Year 12 to children from Kanpi, Nyapari, Angatja Homelands, and Watarru communities. The school employs both Anangu and non-Indigenous staff, fostering a strong performance and development culture. It is part of the Anangu Lands Partnership and collaborates with programs like the Wiltja program at Woodville High School and Windsor Gardens High School, the Umuwa Trade Training Centre, and TAFE SA. Students and families maintain strong connections to Anangu culture and language, with all students speaking Pitjantjatjara. English is predominantly a school-based language. The Kanpi Community provides access to the local Mai Wiru Store and government services, while the Nyapari Community offers access to the Nganampa Health clinic and the renowned Tjungu Palya Art Centre.
