This spot was once used by bushranger Dan "Mad Dog" Morgan in the 1860s as a lookout point to monitor for approaching authorities. Today, it serves as a popular picnic destination, featuring picnic tables and public toilets. The lookout is accessible via a gravel track and is open daily from 8 am to 5 pm during non-daylight saving time, and until 7 pm during daylight saving time. Visitors are encouraged to respect local guidelines, including keeping dogs on leads and refraining from camping or lighting fires.
