Łı́ı́dlı̨ı̨ Kų́ę́ First Nation

Łı́ı́dlı̨ı̨ Kų́ę́ First Nation, located in Fort Simpson, Northwest Territories, is a vibrant community dedicated to preserving and sharing Dene culture. The community offers a range of cultural experiences, including traditional crafts, storytelling, and guided canoe trips along the Dehcho (Mackenzie River). Visitors can also explore local arts and crafts, such as carvings, handmade willow canes, and birch bark baskets, available in various shops throughout the town. Additionally, the community is developing a new tourism centre featuring cabins, a visitor centre, and a gazebo, aiming to provide year-round accommodations and cultural activities.
