Black Point, located within D'Entrecasteaux National Park, is renowned for its striking hexagonal basalt columns formed 135 million years ago by volcanic lava flows. Accessible exclusively by high-clearance 4WD vehicles, the area offers two camping zones: Seal Cove with nine sites and Humpback Hollow with nineteen, all featuring sandy surfaces. Amenities include non-flush pit toilets, and campfires are permitted when conditions allow. Visitors can enjoy activities such as fishing, surfing, and four-wheel driving. Please note, Black Point Road is closed in winter due to flooding.
