Anna Creek Station, located 160 km east of Coober Pedy, is the world's largest working cattle station, covering 15,746 square kilometres. Established in 1863, it transitioned from sheep to cattle due to dingo attacks. The station features diverse landscapes, including sand hill country, swamps, and extensive gibber tablelands. Managed by Matthew Williams, it operates with a team of up to eight station hands, a plant operator, and a cook. The station runs a breeding and fattening operation, supporting a cattle population of 17,000.
