Vega (AU) is a longtime electronic music enthusiast and DJ with a flair for sophisticated sounds that delve into earthy organic and afro house percussions, to soulful deep/lounge and jazz house grooves, vibrant nu-disco, as well as ranging in atmospheric melodic, breakbeat and progressive house. Based in Melbourne, Australia, his sound has been influenced over the years from iconic labels including Anjunadeep, All Day I Dream, Large Music and Be Adult Music and is naturally drawn to track selections that evoke an emotive and atmospheric tone. He has played in several of Melbournes' sought after nightspots including my aeon, Howler, Top Yard, and Brown Alley, where he has made support appearances on Anjunadeep event linups for artists such as Nox Vahn and CRi. Vega (AU) previously held monthly residencies at some of Melbourne's top venues including the balearic summer river bar 'Arbory Afloat' and the intimate 'Music Room' at HER Bar as a member of @floatingdreamsmusic. Floating Dreams are a collective of five passionate DJs who specialise in DJing and hosting organic, melodic and deep house centric events in Melbourne. Over the past several years, the group has funded and held a series of day party and evening events at Brunswick's Howler, with headline artists including Anjunadeep's Dee Montero, Blake 0.8 and M.O.S., as well as Shingo Nakamura [Monstercat] and Double Touch [All Day I Dream].
