As an independent artist, DJ Paramat constantly endeavors to evolve his sound, sharing a new pocket of musical discovery with each set. He aims to challenge listeners and dancefloors by combining unlikely genres with technical proficiency, often layering multiple sounds to create something new and exciting. You may find him presenting on community FM radio station FBi, with his co-curated show ‘Limbs Akimbo’ where the group of hosts (Cousin, Anusha, Hugh, Reenie and Eddy Diamond) present a broad yet selective range of music specifically catered to soundtrack listeners' Saturday late-morning routine. DJ Paramat is often booked at community-focussed events along the east coast of Australia, DJing at world renowned festivals such as Mode, Woodburnia, and Outsider and and venues including Miscellania, Club 77, Sideway, Mothership and Sashimi (warehouse venues). He has played alongside a range of talented artists including Zuli, Spekki Webu, CCL, Roza Terenzi, Vegyn, Loraine James, Helena Hauff, Moopie, Pariah, Al Wooton and more and has also contributed to a range of radio/mix series including Animalia, Bleus, Moonshoe, Transitions, Pure Space, Vortex and Secret World.
