Tom Groggin Campground

Tom Groggin Campground, nestled along the upper Murray River in southern Kosciuszko National Park, offers a serene camping experience amidst stunning mountain and riverside vistas. Located between Khancoban and Thredbo, it serves as an excellent base for fishing, bushwalking, mountain biking, and 4WD adventures. The campground features accessible picnic tables, barbecue facilities, and non-flush toilets. While drinking water isn't available, visitors can enjoy the open grasslands, often frequented by eastern grey kangaroos, emus, and other native wildlife. The area is accessible by 2WD vehicles, with parking available at the campground. Please note, pets are not permitted, and a $6 booking fee applies.
