Patchewollock, VIC

The Patchewollock Historic Train Station, constructed in 1919, stands as a testament to early 20th-century railway architecture in Victoria. This timber station building, featuring a gable roof and posted veranda, was part of the Patchewollock-Hopetoun line. Although passenger services ceased in 1986 and the tracks were removed, the station building and goods shed remain, reflecting the area's rich history. Adjacent to the station, an historical park is under development, with restored structures and two corrugated iron Mallee Fowl sculptures by artist Phil Rigg, installed in 2013.
