Olinda Playspace

Nestled in the picturesque Dandenong Ranges, Olinda Playspace offers a nature-inspired playground for children and families of all ages and abilities. The expansive playscape features a large sandpit with water pumps, balancing beams, slides, flying foxes, rope courses, trampolines, and cubby houses, all integrated among native vegetation. Local artists have enhanced the area with sculptures of wombats, owls, echidnas, and a giant gecko, as well as mosaic artworks created by local school children. Additional amenities include picnic areas with barbecues, shelters, seating, a new toilet block, and walking trails. A dedicated dog-off-lead area allows pets to roam freely. The playspace is part of the Olinda Precinct Project, a 34-hectare open-space site for recreation, developed in consultation with the community.
