Neds Corner

Neds Corner is a tranquil locality in Victoria's Mallee region, approximately 31 km from Cullulleraine and bordered to the north by the Murray River. The area encompasses the 30,000-hectare Neds Corner Station, a nature reserve owned by the Trust for Nature, featuring diverse landscapes such as River Red Gum forests, Black Box floodplain woodlands, mallee woodlands, chenopod shrublands, and ephemeral lignum wetlands. Historically, the station was established in 1849 by Edward Meade ('Ned') Bagot and has evolved from a sheep grazing property to a conservation area since its purchase by the Trust for Nature in 2002.
