Murray - Sunset National Park

Murray-Sunset National Park, Victoria's largest, spans from the Murray River at Lindsay Island to the Pink Lakes near Underbool. This remote outback park offers extensive 4WD trails, birdwatching, and camping opportunities for prepared travelers. The Pink Lakes, named for their color after winter and spring rains, change from deep pink to glistening white and are best viewed early or late in the day or when cloudy. The park features several short walking tracks in the Pink Lakes area, though due to sandy ground, they are not suitable for wheelchairs.
