Lake Hattah Visitor Centre

Nestled within Hattah-Kulkyne National Park, the Lake Hattah Visitor Centre serves as a gateway to the park's diverse landscapes. Visitors can embark on the 2.5 km Woodlands Walk, connecting to the Camel Pad Track, or explore the 6.5 km Hattah Lakes Nature Discovery Trail, offering insights into the Mallee ecosystem. The centre provides access to the Lake Hattah Camping Area, featuring 16 unpowered campsites equipped with non-flush toilets, fireplaces, and picnic tables. The park is renowned for its rich birdlife, including species like pelicans, ducks, and the endangered Malleefowl. Fishing enthusiasts can try their luck for Murray Cod and Golden Perch. The area also offers opportunities for canoeing, cycling, and stargazing under the clear Mallee skies. Please note that dogs are not permitted in the park.
