Balam Balam Place, formerly known as 33 Saxon Street, is a vibrant cultural and community hub in Brunswick, Victoria. The $30 million redevelopment has transformed the site into a state-of-the-art facility offering approximately 3,500 square meters of space for creative and community activities. The precinct features a five-level building housing a café, creative tenancies, a maternal and child health center, and the Blak Dot Gallery. The original 1888 mansion, Heritage House, has been restored and is available for hire. Surrounding the buildings are 2,500 square meters of open space with native gardens, providing a welcoming environment for visitors. Managed by These Are The Projects We Do Together, Balam Balam Place offers affordable and flexible spaces for creatives, artists, and the Brunswick community.
