Nestled between the sea and a lake in banksia woodlands, Corringle Foreshore Campground offers a serene camping experience near the beach. The campground features 24 designated sites equipped with picnic tables, fireplaces, and pit toilets. Dogs on a lead are welcome, making it an ideal spot for fishing and boating enthusiasts. The area is rich in history, with remnants of 19th-century slipways used for launching and repairing boats still visible. While swimming is not advised due to strong rips and currents, surf fishing is popular, with common catches including salmon, tailor, and gummy shark. A concrete boat ramp provides access to the Snowy River estuary, enhancing the campground's appeal for water activities. Please note that camping fees apply, and an amateur fishing license is required for all waters in Victoria.
