Lane, Temperance Store,' it was established by the Lane family, with Maryann Lane born at the shop in 1869. The store offered a variety of goods, including groceries, fresh produce, and household items. In the 1940s, it featured a petrol bowser with two hoses at the front. The Bawden family took over in the mid-1960s, operating it as 'E. & J. Bawden Service Grocers' until 1983. Today, the site continues to serve the community, reflecting its enduring legacy.
