Nestled along the Lower Snowy River estuary, Corringle Slips Foreshore Reserve offers a serene camping experience between the sea and a lake, surrounded by banksia woodlands. The campground features 24 designated sites equipped with pit toilets, untreated water, picnic tables, and fireplaces. Dogs on a lead are welcome, making it an ideal spot for fishing and boating enthusiasts. The area is rich in history, with remnants of 19th-century slipways once used for launching and repairing boats still visible today. Visitors can enjoy activities such as surf fishing, canoeing, and kayaking in the estuary's sheltered waters. Please note that swimming is not advised due to strong rips and currents. The campground is accessible via Back Corringle Road, approximately 18 km south of Newmerella.
