My name is LeRon L. Barton and I am a writer, author, and speaker. I talk about race, mass incarceration, politics, being Black in tech, stuttering, and the power of sharing your story. I have appeared at San Francisco State University, Salon, Harvard Business Review, University of Massachusetts-Amherst, Black Enterprise, Newsweek, United Way, and Oxford University. I love storytelling! Being able to take listeners on a journey of heights and lows, describing the challenges of racism, stuttering, risk taking, and finding out who you are. I believe telling a story is the best way to reach people, show them a different side of life, and present a new vantage point.
