Improving Humans- Improves Everything Jim Brayshaw's three-decade career as a passionate Firefighter, Fire Captain, and Mental Health Educator, has honed his expertise as an insightful Mental Health and Human Improvement Leader. Through years of service and extensive research, he has developed a deep understanding of mental health decline, recovery, resilience, human behavior, and the societal structures that shape us. Jim's work in Trauma Support, Critical Incident Stress Management, and Peer Support Team Development have provided invaluable insights into the complexities of human wellness. He successfully leads teams through crisis events and critical incidents and develops programs and strategies to significantly improve your team’s cohesion, reduce stress levels, and improve individual and collective wellness. Over the past dozen years, Jim and his wife Angellah, have co-owned and operated Sask Mental Health Training & Supports, a mental health educational company. He is also represented by the Speakers Bureau of Canada. His artful communication style and research-driven approach explore the emotional, psychological, sociological, neurobiological, and philosophical factors that influence our actions, our beliefs, and our wellness. He comes alongside individuals and organizations to improve resilience, enhance emotional intelligence, strengthen supportive leadership, and cultivate an improved culture of well-being. Jim has seen and experienced, that through improving human wellness potential, we improve everything.... relationships, sleep, health, productivity, and all things in work and in life. He moves his workshop participants and audiences to see “why” we may be experiencing life in a certain way, so we can successfully learn ‘how’ to work toward the wellness we all deserve.
