I am a dedicated and passionate researcher with a deep commitment to making a positive impact in the medical and scientific community. As one of Australia’s first female PhD students in the medical sciences with lived experience of cerebral palsy, I bring a unique perspective and a wealth of personal and professional experience to my work. My research focuses on barriers to exercise in adults with cerebral palsy, backed by a prestigious research grant from the Cerebral Palsy Alliance. Beyond my research, I am an advocate for inclusive practices in medical education and various societal spheres. My efforts have been recognized by the Australian Academy of Sciences, where I was named one of the inaugural STEM changemakers. I have contributed to significant policy changes and have been involved in mentoring programs such as the L’Oréal-UNESCO Women in Science. As a motivational speaker and author, I have shared my journey and insights through various media outlets
