Mambray Creek Campground

Mambray Creek Campground, nestled within Mount Remarkable National Park near Wilmington, South Australia, offers a rejuvenated camping experience. Following a $2.5 million upgrade completed in December 2023, the campground now features 49 spacious, level sites, including 11 double sites and four drive-through sites, all set among river red gums. Amenities include two fully accessible shower blocks with hot water, a camp kitchen with food preparation and dishwashing facilities, and picnic furniture with shelters throughout the site. The campground is suitable for tents, camper trailers, and selected sites accommodate caravans, motorhomes, and campervans. Mambray Creek is renowned for its bushwalking and mountain biking trails, such as the Daveys Gully Hike and the Remarkable Epic Trail, and is home to diverse wildlife, including yellow-footed rock wallabies, emus, and lace monitors. Campsites are unpowered and require online booking prior to arrival.
