Lake Frome

Lake Frome, also known as Munda, is a vast salt lake in South Australia's arid interior, renowned for its unique geological features and cultural significance. The lake is part of the Lake Frome National Park, established in 2021 to protect its distinctive environment. Access to Lake Frome is limited, with a single four-wheel-drive track leading to its western shore, traversing the Vulkathunha-Gammon Ranges National Park. The area is culturally significant to the Adnyamathanha people, who hold the lake in high esteem.
