Emu Valley Rhododendron Garden, located near Burnie in Tasmania, is a non-profit community organization dedicated to showcasing and conserving the rhododendron genus. Spanning 11 hectares, the garden features over 24,000 plants, including more than half of the known rhododendron species worldwide. The garden is laid out by the geographical origin of the plants, with sections dedicated to regions such as the Himalayas, New Guinea, and the Americas. Visitors can enjoy walking tracks, lakes, bridges, and a variety of native wildlife, including platypus and echidnas. The garden is open daily from 10 am to 4 pm, with entry fees applicable.
