Dandenong Ranges Botanic Garden, formerly known as the National Rhododendron Garden, is a 42-hectare haven in Olinda, Victoria, renowned for its vibrant displays of rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias, and daffodils. Established in 1960, the garden offers breathtaking views over the Yarra Valley and features Australia's largest collection of rhododendron hybrids. Visitors can enjoy a 25-minute guided tour on the 'Garden Explorer' or relax with a picnic amidst the lush landscapes. The garden is open daily from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm, with gates closing at 5:00 pm. It is closed on Christmas Day and during extreme weather events.
