Cloudehill Gardens, nestled atop the Dandenongs in Olinda, is renowned for its 25 distinct garden rooms, each offering a unique floral display and artistic elements throughout the year. Highlights include Australia's finest summer borders, peony gardens, a spring shrub walk, bluebell woodlands, extensive bulb meadows, and a 'green theatre' that hosts the Summer Twilight Concert Series. The garden's deep volcanic soil and mild climate allow plants to flourish, with weeping Japanese maples imported from Yokohama Nursery in Japan in 1928 standing as significant features. The Diggers Club operates Cloudehill's nursery and garden shop, offering heirloom seeds, mature trees, and many of the plants found in the gardens. Seasons Restaurant provides a unique dining experience using fresh local produce.
