Cadella Park is a distinctive and flexible wedding and events venue located between Kyneton and Woodend, on a working farm rich with history. The extensive 1845 property features a beautifully updated century-old barn set amongst rolling farmland, hemmed by manicured hedges and stately post-and-rail wooden fences. Guests enter the driveway down an avenue of majestic elms, arriving at ceremony sites through old farm gates and a hawthorn hedge. A giant cypress tree provides the central backdrop for ceremonies, with country fields and grazing animals glimpsed beyond. The Barn, the heart of the Cadella Park experience, offers plenty of room for seated dining, grazing, and lounging before dancing the night away on a Mediterranean-style terracotta concrete floor. A six-metre-long bar in front of an original stone facade keeps the drinks flowing in this generously open event space, lit by vintage sash windows and later, artisan-made Baroque lanterns. A European-style outdoor courtyard adjacent to the barn features generous plantings of rosemary and olive trees. Lit with festoon lighting, it offers a beautiful alternative space for aperitifs or an alfresco reception.
