We booked our car in for a clean and, on arrival, the assistant inspected the vehicle, provided a quote, and watched as we removed our baby seat and pram from the boot. We had two large serving bowls in the boot (which we were returning to family after Christmas) At no point did the assistant raise any concerns or advise us to remove them. When we returned, we paid and were handed the keys. As we began loading our belongings back into the car, we noticed the bowls were missing. We immediately went back to speak with the assistant and were casually told, “they were smashed,” and that it was our fault for leaving them in the car. We asked to see CCTV footage of the bowls allegedly falling from the boot and were told they were “too busy” to show us. There was no apology, no accountability, and no attempt to resolve the situation. The lack of care, professionalism, and respect for customers’ belongings is unacceptable. We will not be returning and strongly advise others to think twice before using this business.
