Sandon River campground, nestled within Yuraygir National Park, offers 29 unpowered sites suitable for tents, camper trailers, and caravans. Located on a sandy peninsula between the Sandon River and the ocean, it provides picturesque views and easy access to fishing, swimming, and boating. Amenities include picnic tables, electric barbecues, a boat ramp, non-flush toilets, and a public phone. Please note, drinking water is not available; visitors should bring their own. The campground is accessible via a gravel road that may not be suitable for all vehicles; it's advisable to check road conditions before visiting.
