The memorial features a 600-meter winding path symbolizing the Rainbow Serpent, adorned with seven granite plaques narrating the massacre's history in both English and Gamilaraay language. At the path's end, a 14-tonne granite boulder stands as a tribute to the victims. This site serves as a significant place of reconciliation and education, attracting visitors nationwide.
