Kakowan Community Facility

Nestled at the entrance to James Drysdale Reserve, Kakowan Community Facility offers a modern space for local groups and residents to connect and engage. The facility features two meeting rooms, each approximately 20sqm, equipped with tables, 16 chairs, and kitchenette amenities. Two larger rooms of 100sqm each can be combined into a 200sqm space, ideal for events, with kitchenettes and access to a spacious deck overlooking native flora. The alfresco area includes Kakowan Koffee, a coffee shop serving beverages and light snacks daily from 7am to 12pm. Regular groups, such as "The Yoga Pond," utilize the space for classes, fostering a vibrant community atmosphere. Managed by the Golden Valley Keperra Lions Club, the facility is dedicated to supporting local charities and not-for-profit groups, offering affordable rates and a welcoming environment for various activities.
